Hint: It’s About More Than Optimizing for “Assisted Living” or “Home Care”
Don’t you just love an infographic? Me, too. It is such a quick and easy way to summarize a lot of information. We are having fun creating a few for senior care content clients this spring.
This bug is a great one if you are stuck in a rut trying to create senior care content. Kudos to the WebBizIdeas folks. Literally every one of their 17 content suggestions can be used to create content that reaches families at some touch point on the senior care decision journey.
Have you done a site audit recently? Not from a technical perspective, but from a content one. This bug may help you evaluate where you are at with building your content.
I like to help clients compare the consumer decision journey with the content they have that will reach families at each touch point along the way. Or with the aging triggers that cause families to reach for the mouse. It is more than just winning the traffic that comes when you search for “assisted living in Virginia” or “home care in Freeport.” It is developing content for the family just beginning to realize something is off. They are more likely to be searching for “preventing elderly falls” (4400 searches a month with low competition) or “safety for seniors” (3600 monthly searches with medium competition).
Do you have senior care content that captures that family lead?
The leads that come when it is early enough to really present your brand as the expert? Because that is what happens when it looks like you have all the resources and answers an adult child needs to help an aging parent. You become the expert in their minds. It may mean a longer selling cycle, but it is a cycle that allows you to stay involved and build a relationship with the family.
We’d love the opportunity to help you evaluate where you are and how to get to where you need to be to compete online. Shot us an email at: info@TheSeniorCareSpecialists.com or use our handy dandy Contact Form.
