I hope it is warmer where you are than it is here in the land of the Great Lakes. We’ve been busy plotting ways to move our office so Southern California or Miami for a month or two…

Check Out our New Senior Care Content Resource Center
You may not have noticed it, but during the hustle and bustle of the holiday season we added a Senior Care Content Resource Center to our site! We hope you will find the information, tools and links to be of help. Be sure to follow us on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. We will use those channels to let know when we update the resources. This area of our site will always be a work in progress!
We also encourage you to share any resources you have found to be helpful in learning more about content marketing, social media and SEO. We’ll be sure to add them to the resource center. That is what Participation Marketing is all about right?
Which brings me to our goals and resolutions for this year…
Home Care and Senior Living Content Goals for 2015
Here are a few areas you will be hearing more about from us this year:
- Fat Content: While most of us in the office are trying to be healthier this year, our content is continuing to chub up. We are developing content that can break down in to smaller posts for blogs and social channels. Content that can be used in a variety of ways including being adapted for your marketing and sales teams to use offline.
- Participation Marketing: We are continuing to encourage our clients, colleagues and peers to join in on discussions related to content marketing. Whether it is by sharing with us on Twitter, Google+ or Facebook or by joining the conversation on our blog or others. (YEP- we’ve neglected our Facebook in favor of Twitter the past two years but will be pumping up our posts in 2015!)
- Visuals: You’ve heard us talk before about visual strategies such as SlideShare. You know we’ve shared options for creating your own graphics or having us help develop infographics for you. Those will all continue to be a focus for us this year. We will also be rolling out more video options by the third quarter! We are in the process of working on our first explainer video right now. (s. It is so much fun!)
- Newsroom: If you have neglected adding one to your site, make 2015 the year you finally do so. Journalists can be your friend. And a Newsroom can help position you as an expert. It also gives you one more avenue for telling your brand’s stories.
- Content Mapping: We are continuing to work hard to make sure our clients have the right content in the right place at the right time. Our goal is to create content that engages families with your brand. You need them to follow you on social channels and subscribe to your site. That helps you build a relationship with families while they work their way through the senior care decision journey.
Top of mind = tip of tongue when they need help right?
