We see it all the time…
Incorrect tenses. Words used incorrectly. Typos
While everyone makes mistakes, some are too funny not to share.
So in honor of National Grammar Day today…here are a few of our favorites.
Typos Too Funny Not to Share
- A professional writer send us a resume highlighting her experience in writing and pubic relations… All we wanted was someone to help our clients with news releases and online news room content. We weren’t looking to go all porn star.
- A client sent us a holiday card wishing us Seasons’ Greeetings. Sad part was…it was a printed card. So all their other clients and vendors likely received the same card.
- A very nice young lady sent us a query letter about summer internships. On it she explained that she was a junior at Amercian University. She hopes to be an editoer for a publishing house one day. Not sure she’s cut out for it. What do you think?
And a few from Reddit we couldn’t resist including
While I’m ready for summer, Wednesday seems like it might be a little dangerous?
His photo made it in the yearbook! His parents must be so…proud?
Here’s what happens when floats don’t come with spell check…

You Need an Editor
The moral of the story is…
If you are writing and publishing your own senior living content, make sure you have an editor.
Once you put it out there in cyberspace, your senior living content has a life of its own.
For better or worse…
And while we often want to poke our own editors in the eye for constantly criticizing critiquing our work, they’ve helped keep us from becoming a funny meme on Facebook.
If you need help with you’re writing or editing, shoot us a note. (Sorry couldn’t resist throwing that in there. Don’t tweet me about!)
Happy National Grammar Day!! Go out and celebrate…
