Re-purposing Senior Living Blog Articles
Do you spend a lot of time creating rich and engaging senior living blog posts? Or pay someone to do it for you?
What do you do with the content once you’ve posted it and reaped the rewards on your blog? Anything? While I hope the answer is YES, I can probably guess it’s not.
The blog articles we create for our clients are a combination of evergreen topics and trending ones. One thing they all have in common is they are relevant to our industry. So not using them beyond your blog is like leaving cash on the counter at Target…
Here are 13 other ways you can use your senior living blog content:
- Create a news release for your local newspaper
- Create a flyer to use in a sales blitz
- Combine a few related articles to create a guide that visitors to your website can download
- Split up the article in to conversation starters you can use on your social channels
- Stay top of mind with families by sending them a link to an article on your blog
- Create a Slide Share
- Create a PowerPoint to use in presentations
- Create a round-up blog post by topic
- Create a guide to use in your offline marketing efforts
- Use the content in an Advertorial in your local paper
- Write a letter to the editor of your local paper
- Use the content for an enewsletter
- Create an infographic
With a few rewrites and little bit of editing to target the intended audience, all you might need to do is add design. If you are lucky enough to have in-house design, the cost will be minimal.
So take a look at your editorial calendar for the current quarter (you do have one right?) along with the last few quarters and see what you find. If your editorial calendars are well-designed (meaning topics include both the season of the year and the evergreen issues in senior living), the opportunities will be endless!
Happy Hunting!
