Our Summer Marketing Minute series continues this week with a quick chat about senior living sales teams…
One mistake we see often when we are helping senior living providers develop their content marketing strategy is a lack of involvement from the sales team.
While no one wants to slow them down or drag them in to more meetings, their input is invaluable in content marketing.
How so you ask?
The senior living sales teams are typically the front line when it comes to meeting with and talking to families. As a result, they know what questions seniors have and what is keeping adult children up at night.
Sure we know some of the basics, but our industry is evolving. Families are becoming more aware of their options. They are asking better questions. More detailed questions. Different questions.
And one thing we know for certain is that if families are asking questions offline, you can bet your boots they are asking them online.
They are typing long questions (we call them long tail keywords) —not just a single keyword — in to their Google search box.
You want to be sure you have content on your senior care website that answers those questions.
So go grab your senior living sales teams, pour some cold-brewed almond milk coffee in to your mug and spend 30 minutes mining your team for new content marketing topics.
Easy peasy right?
And that is a wrap on this week’s Summer Marketing Minute!
