Are you heading to a Super Bowl party this weekend? Let’s be honest, many of us are in it for the ads, the adult beverages, and the snacks.
SCCS is headquartered in Ann Arbor…home of the University of Michigan…and Tom Brady’s college stomping grounds. Yep, our crew is made up of Patriots fans.
Love him or hate him, Brady is a master at creating a brand and telling a story. And he is a warrior who never, ever gives up. He goes the extra mile to succeed. (Did you see the comeback in last year’s Super Bowl??)
What the heck does that have to do with assisted living copywriting, you are probably asking?
More than you think.
Assisted Living Copy: Telling the Stories
Did you check out Tom Brady’s Facebook documentary “Tom vs Time?”
Brady knows how much gossip revolves around him turning 40, and how time marches on. He’s grabbed the narrative by taking you behind the scenes and showing you his story. The segments in the documentary pull you in to share his personal journey.
It’s emotional and fresh. And it’s something you can do with your assisted living copy.
Tell the stories of some of your residents. What led them to consider assisted living? What were their trials and tribulations? What were their pain points and joys? How has this move changed their life? What do their families have to say?
The stories in assisted living communities are endless, as are the solutions you provide to seniors and their families.
Yeah, it’s a lot more work than creating a typical blog article. You’ll have to go the extra mile like Brady does. But, like the old adage says, the extra mile is a lonely road. That’s good news because you’ll have some great assisted living copy that few other providers have.
It doesn’t have to be a high-end video production either. You can create blog posts and articles to share the journey.
In fact, unlike millenials and younger adults, seniors and their adult children are age groups that prefer written word to video.
SCCS Now Offers Senior Living Editing Services
One of our newer services for clients is editing those stories. You gather the background, create the first draft, and our crack team of editors can polish it up.
It’s a great way to add stories to your senior living website if you don’t have an in-house team who can do it. Shoot us a note if you’d like to know more…
