Lead capture requires strategy.
How is your senior living website performing when it comes to capturing leads? Are you pulling in qualified prospects? Or are your results more along the lines of a message in a bottle?
Many senior living websites aren’t well optimized when it comes to lead capture.
It’s shocking how many providers don’t even have an option for visitors to subscribe to their blog!
While great content is the starting point, it takes more than waiting for older adults and their families who’ve been on your site to call or visit.
What else should you be doing you might ask?
Here are a few factors essential to every lead capture strategy…
Lead Capture Tips for Senior Living Websites
1. Have an easy to see opt-in for your site.
Ours is very prominent, as you can probably see. People who sign up receive an email when our blog is updated. And an occasional e-newsletter. We encourage people to subscribe to it on many of our individual blog posts, as well as on our Twitter feed and LinkedIn.
2. Create a lead magnet that you change quarterly.
For someone to give up their email address, they must be able to see the value you offer. Great content is important, but a lead magnet can give it an extra boost. Have a variety of lead magnets you change out every few months. Promote the lead magnet on your social media channels, too.
3. Landing page with one call to action.
This last one is a biggie. When you are promoting the lead magnet mentioned above, have a dedicated landing page for it. Make certain the content on your landing page is descriptive and enticing. And be sure you have only one call to action—entering their email address to receive the download—on the landing page. Don’t confuse visitors with multiple calls to action.
